The Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] hosted its annual Prize Giving Awards Ceremony on Saturday, October 24th, at the Warwick Workmen’s Club, bringing together players, coaches, officials, and administrators to honor superior individual and team performances across the 2026 domestic cricket season.

A spokesperson said, “The event opened with a solemn moment of silence led by BCB President Mr. Lloyd Smith in honor and memory of the late Mr. Winston Reid and Mr. Gary Fray, both of whom contributed significantly to Bermudian cricket and who’s recent passings deeply saddened the local sporting community.

“The distinguished occasion was attended by Owen Darrell, Minister of Tourism, Transport, Culture & Sport, who acknowledged the fundamental importance of cricket to Bermuda’s cultural heritage and praised the recent international successes of the Senior Men’s National Cricket Team.

“The evening featured guest speaker Mr. Andre Coley, BCB International Cricket Consultant and former Head Coach of Cricket West Indies [CWI], who shared inspiring insights on high performance development, athletic discipline, and advancing Bermudian cricket on the international stage.

“Southampton Rangers Sports Club and host venue Warwick Workmen’s Club emerged as the major team award winners of the night, sweeping multiple league and knockout titles across both divisions.
