Shiona Turini Styles Beyoncé For i-D Cover
Bermudian stylist Shiona Turini has styled Beyoncé for a new i-D publication, marking the superstar’s return to the magazine 20 years after her last cover.
The special edition coincides with the UK expansion of Beyoncé’s haircare brand, Cécred, and features an interview with the singer and her mother, Tina Knowles.
Announcing the project on Instagram, i-D said, “As Beyoncé expands Cécred into the UK, the musician, founder, and artist returns to i-D 20 years after her last cover to open up about her hair, her family, and her love for London in a new exclusive i-D zine.”
The publication credits Ms Turini with styling, alongside photographer Blair Caldwell, colour director Mason Poole, hairstylist Neal Farinah for Cécred, make-up artist Francesca Tolot and writer Eni Subair.
The project adds to Ms Turini’s collaborations with Beyoncé, which include serving as a stylist for the Renaissance World Tour and styling the singer’s March/April 2024 Essence magazine cover.
In 2025, the Bermudian won an Emmy for Outstanding Costumes for Variety, Nonfiction or Reality Programming for her work on Beyoncé Bowl, the singer’s NFL Christmas halftime performance.
