Singles Bowling Nights Set For November 7 & 14
Singles in Bermuda are invited to meet new people at Singles Bowling Night, a two-date event hosted by Imagine Nation Events and Strykz Bowling Lounge on November 7 and 14.
A spokesperson said, “Singles in Bermuda are invited to trade dating app swipes and awkward introductions for an evening of bowling, music, and genuine connection at Singles Bowling Night: Bowling with a Twist, hosted by Imagine Nation Events in collaboration with Strykz Bowling Lounge.
“With few dedicated events designed specifically for singles on the island, this two-night experience aims to create a relaxed, fun environment where attendees can meet new people without the pressure of wondering whether someone they are interested in is single.
“In a world driven by social media, the desire for real human connection remains. The events will cater to two age groups: ages 25–40 on Saturday, November 7, and ages 40–55 on Saturday, November 14, offering two opportunities to connect, socialise, and make memories.
“The event is organised by the founder of Imagine Nation Events, Jadiyah Bailey, an entrepreneur with a passion for bringing people together through creative events and memorable experiences. In addition to event planning, Imagine Nation Events offers photo booth rentals, including Bermuda’s first full-length mirror photo booth, as well as balloon décor and other event services.
“As a member of Ignite – Cohort 11, Jadiyah is using the programme as an opportunity to grow the business, benefit from mentorship, and strengthen her entrepreneurial skills while bringing new and exciting experiences to the local community.
“The collaboration also brings together two generations of entrepreneurship, as Jadiyah partners with her father, Philip Bailey Jr. – owner and manager of Strykz Bowling Lounge. The bowling alley has undergone a series of upgrades, reinforcing its position as a destination for bowling outings, birthday celebrations, and corporate events.
“Beyond bowling, Strykz Bowling Lounge offers dining, a bar, and a DJ on weekends after 10 p.m., making it an ideal setting for an evening of entertainment and socialising. Both father and daughter share a passion for entrepreneurship and are excited to combine their expertise to deliver an event that encourages connection while showcasing what local businesses can achieve through collaboration.
“With two nights, two age groups, and plenty of opportunities for fun, Singles Bowling Night promises a refreshing alternative to the usual ways of meeting people.
