UK Minister Uma Kumaran Visits Bermuda
UK Minister Uma Kumaran began her first Bermuda visit with meetings on local issues and plans to sign the Hamilton II Declaration on Sargasso Sea protection.
A Government spokesperson said, “Uma Kumaran, UK Minister for the Overseas Territories, the Caribbean and Global Technology, was welcomed to the Cabinet Office today during her first visit to Bermuda.
“Her visit includes meetings and engagements focused on security and defence, domestic violence, local industry and ocean science. This afternoon, she will sign the Hamilton II Declaration at Government House, supporting joint Bermuda–UK efforts to build global support for protecting the Sargasso Sea.”
