Woman Dies After Being Struck By Car
The police have now confirmed the death of a woman after she was struck by a car, saying it marks the 14th road fatality of the year.
A police spokesperson said, “Sadly, Bermuda has now recorded its fourteenth road fatality for 2026, following the death of a woman struck by a motorcar on Cedar Avenue, shortly after 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2026.
“She was transported via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where she succumbed while receiving treatment for her injuries. No further information will be provided at this time.
“The Bermuda Police Service wishes to thank those members of the public who have so far come forward to assist with the investigation into this matter.
“We are renewing our appeal for witnesses or anyone who may have information relating to this incident but are yet to speak with police to please contact Sergeant, Jordan Basden, on 515-2498, or e-mail jordan.basden@bps.bm, as soon as possible.
