It is with deep sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Edmund Faria on May 28th, 2025 in Beaumont Hospital, Ireland, following a short illness in his 57th year [formerly of Devonshire Parish, Bermuda]. He was the son of the late Antonio Ivo and Maria Conceicao Faria; beloved husband to his heartbroken wife Arlêne. Predeceased by his brothers Antonio Faria [Lucia] and Carlos Faria [Ilda]; he will be lovingly remembered and missed by his heartbroken sisters Maria Lopes [Johnny] and Natalia Muso [Stephen]; nephews Christopher Faria [Alba], Andrew Lopes [Thiago], Jason Lopes [Christy], Justin Faria [Megan], Dylan Muso, Brady Keenan and Donnacha Keenan; nieces Sydney Keenan and Saoirse Keenan; mother in law Mary Keenan; brothers in law Mark Keenan [Courtney] and Emmett Keenan [Bredge]; godparents Edmundo and Maria de Lourdes Faria.
Special friends John Bento, Scott Viera, Lincoln Smith, Stephen Moniz, John Morley, the Sound Decision Family and many others in Bermuda and Ireland too numerous to mention.
A funeral mass will be held today, Wednesday June 11th, 2025, 4:00 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, South Road, Smith’s.
