Hortense Josephine Warthen

Hortense Josephine Warthen [née Tyrrell], 100, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, passed away on February 11, 2024. She was born on October 3, 1923.
Hortense is survived by her son, Dwight Edmund, her daughter-in-law Donna, grandsons Dwight, Daniel, and Dorian, her sister Ursula Tyrrell, and her brother Raoul Tyrrell.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Joseph Tyrrell, her mother, Una Agusta [Jones] Tyrrell, her sisters Dorothy [Tyrrell] Mills and Hope Tyrrell.
Hortense will be remembered for her kindness and the love she showed to her family. Services were held in Maryland on February 29, 2024.
She had other relatives and friends, both in Bermuda and abroad.
