A service celebrating the life of Mrs. June Audrey Gwendolyn Swan, beloved wife of the late C. Hyland [Mick] Swan; loving mother of Gerry Swan [Sharon], Velma Anderson [Louis], Brian Swan [Sherry] and Gavin Swan [Karolyn], in her 92nd year of #2 Cameron Close, Smith’s FL 02, will be held Today, Saturday, May 11, 2019, at 1pm at Bright Temple A.M.E. Church, Spring Hill, Warwick. Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Middle Road, Paget.
Visitation: Relatives and friends may pay their respects Today, Saturday, May 11th at the church from 12noon to 12:50.
She also leaves to cherish her memory: Grandchildren: Gerry Swan II [Kathy]; Dube Swan [Lisa], Shannon Swan [Denaye], Damon Anderson, Tanisha Anderson, Liam Anderson, Sharai Parris, Shaun Swan, Stefon Swan, Jhauntu Williams and Justin Williams; [predeceased by grandson Trey Swan, granddaughter Kathy Williams and great grandson Gerry Swan III]. 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; Sisters: Lorraine Smith [the late Cyril], Agnes Foley [the late Donald], Barbara Smith [the late Leon], Merle Robinson [the late Gladwin]; brother Garry Simons [Jean]; Sisters-in-law: Edith Swan [the late Granville], June Simons [the late Dudley] and Ismay Barker [the late Leo]; Special companion Samuel “Sam” Paynter; Special friends: Angela Spurway, Victoria Manning and Colvin Manning and family; Bright Temple Church family, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
