Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the death of Mrs. Maria Nascimento Mota DeSilva.
A Home Going service for Mrs. Maria Nascimento Mota DeSilva beloved wife of Daniel P. DeSilva, daughter of the late John and Ana Mota, loving mother to Helder [Marie], John [Rochelle] and Michael DeSilva [Colleen], sister of Florinda Benevides and the late Virgina Semeao’ in her 83rd year of 1 St. Michael Lane, St. Michael Road, Paget will be held at St. Theresa’s Cathedral, Cedar Avenue, Pembroke today, October 20, 2015 at 3pm.
Interment will follow at Holy Calvary Cemetery. Flowers may be sent or donations to Bermuda Heart Foundation.
There will be no viewing.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Augustus Funeral Home Rose Chapel this evening Monday, October 19, 2015 from 7:30 – 9:00pm only. The rosary will take place at 7:30 at Augustus Funeral Home Rose Chapel.
Also surviving are grandchildren: Meghan, Elizabeth, Corey, Jordan, Daniel, Matthew, Jonathan, Ashley and her mother Lorna; great grandchild Jacob Cook; a special thanks to Dr. Robert Martin and his staff for all the special care given to Maria over the years, also to the emergency staff of KEMH, and to the Ascendant Partner Re Ward; numerous other relatives and friends to mention.
