Traffic Victim Identified as Andre Hendrickson
After approximately 48 hrs, the man who was struck and killed by a car on North Shore Road early Sat morning has been identified as a 41 year old Southampton man. The police say no further information will be released until his next of kin have been notified.
Update: Tues Apr 20, 6pm: Man has been officially identified as Andre Hendrickson
The driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving and causing death by dangerous driving, however he subsequently passed the alco-analyser test.
The driver, a 27 year old Hamilton Parish man, has been released on Police bail.
The Bermuda Police Service says they would like to thank the members of the public who came forward regarding the fatal road traffic collision and that any witnesses to this incident are encouraged to contact PC Shem Obeius on 295-0011.
