Victim of Beating Moved to Intensive Care

bermuda hospital A 19 yr old Devonshire man who was the victim of a beating by 2 or 3 men on Thursday, has been moved to the Intensive Care Unit.

The incident occurred around 1pm on Thursday, April 15th on Woodlawn Road in Sandys Parish near the junction with Middle Road.

The Police say it appears that the man was attacked by two or three men, who used a combination of a blunt object to strike the victim, and also punched and kicked the victim during the attack.

The victim was taken to King Edward Memorial Hospital with what initially appeared to be relatively minor injuries, however he has since taken a turn for the worse, resulting in him being moved into the ICU.

The Police are investigating the matter, and are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to contact PC Gregory Battersbee on 295-0011.
