Middle Road: Police Vehicle & Truck Collide
Just before 10am today [Nov 9] there was an accident involving a marked Police vehicle and a heavy truck on Middle Road in Warwick near the junction with Tamarind Vale. Traffic was temporarily diverted on to Harbour Road as a result.
The Police state that details about the collision are unclear at this time; however an officer in the Police Landcruiser was injured. He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment and released. The driver of the heavy truck were uninjured, however both vehicles were damaged.
