Videos: Sea Venture Historical Re-enactment
Yesterday afternoon [Nov 11] a new memorial to the Sea Venture was unveiled in St. George’s. In 1609, the Sea Venture ran into a strong storm, and ran aground on Bermuda’s reefs, with the settlers becoming the first known inhabitants of the island.
During the ceremony yesterday, a group of performers costumed in period clothing performed a historical re-enactment, watch 15 mins of the performance below:
