Photos: Women’s Hockey Swallows vs Canaries

In women’s hockey today [Jan 30], the Swallows played the Canaries and JoAnn Smith-Barrow gave the Canaries the lead in the 4th minute with a Field Goal.

Liz Stewart equalized for the Swallows in the 11th minute scoring from a Penalty Corner. Mary Ellen Jackson put the Canaries back in front with a 38th minute Field Goal, Maria Dobinson made it 2 – 2 with a 48th minute Field Goal, four minutes later Joanna Heaney made it 3 – 2 to the Swallows. Jackson scored her second Field Goal of the game in the 53rd minute to draw the Canaries level, the Swallows went back in front again six minutes later Stewart scored from a Penalty Corner. Shannon Carlin gave the Swallows a 5 – 3 lead in the 59th minute, before Lisa Marshall pulled a goal back for the Canaries in the 67th minute when she went on a run from just inside the Swallows half and scored.
