Yesterday [Jan 30] a number of football games took place across the island, scores below:

Prospect United 0 PHC Zebras 1

  • The only goal of this game at the Police Field came in the 89th minute, when PHC Zebras substitute Lloyd Holder scored to end Prospect United’s FA Cup Semi-Final dreams.

Devonshire Cougars 1 St. George’s Colts 1

  • At the Devonshire Rec. Jamie Smith scored in the 6th minute to give the Devonshire Cougars the lead, but a Clay Darrell second half goal saw the teams level at 1 – 1 when the full time whistle was blown. The two teams will have to do it all over again in a replay for a Semi-Final Spot.

Southampton Rangers 1 Dandy Town Hornets 0

  • After a scoreless first half at the Southampton Oval, Ezekiel Stoneham scored in the 68th minute to give the home team Southampton Rangers a 1 – 0 win over the Dandy Town Hornets.

St. David’s 5 Wolves 3

  • At Lord’s in St. David’s, Derek Brangman gave Wolves the lead in the 15th minute, but one minute later Otis Minors equalized for St. David’s, Landro Minors scored to make the half time score 2 – 1 to St. David’s. In the 47th minute Otis Minors gave St. David’s the 3 – 1 lead and then two minutes later George O’Brien Jr. made it 4 – 1 to St. David’s. In the 56th minute Brangman pulled a goal back for Wolves and then in the 74th minute John Nusum made it a one goal game when he scored for Wolves, but Angelo Cannonier scored in the 90th minute to earn St. David’s a spot in the Semi-Final draw.

First Division

Paget Lions 2 Ireland Rangers 7

  • At the White Hill Field, Ireland Rangers got 3 goals from Jamal Mill, 2 goals from Drake Simmons and single strikes from Terry Rogers and Ryan Simons as they defeated the Paget Lions 7 – 2. Ajani Albouy-Lovell and Damir Phillips scored a goal each for Paget.
