Videos: Fire Limbo & Spinning for Earth Hour

March 27, 2011

Locals gathered at City Hall last night [Mar.26] to celebrate Earth Hour, and as the lights went off the gleen of fire could be seen as Fire Limbo Dancers and Fire Spinners entertained the crowd as steel pans played in the background.

Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia when 2.2 million individuals and more than 2,000 businesses turned their lights off for one hour to take a stand against climate change. A year later Earth Hour had become a global sustainability movement with more than 50 million people across 35 countries/territories participating, including Bermuda.
