5 Top Ten Finishes: Overseas Track Athletes
A number of Bermudian athletes who attend college in the US competed overseas this weekend, with four of them picking up top ten finishes.
Henry Stevens Carty competed in the FSU Seminole Invitational in Tallahassee, Florida and placed 3rd in the 800m in a time of 1:52.19.
Harold “Tre” Houston competed in his first track meet of the season, the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner Kersee Event in California. He placed 4th in the 100m in a time of 10.98, and 6th in the 200m in a time of 21.87.
Latroya Darrell competed in the Spec town Invitational in Athens, Georgia placing 4th in the triple jump with a leap of 12.83m
Jasmine Bronson competed in the Texas Relays and placed 7th in the triple jump with a leap of 12.40m
