Toronto Football Club defeated a team El Salvador on Tuesday [Sept 25] and kept their CONCACAF Champions League hopes alive. Two Bermudians were in the starting line-up, with both Reggie Lambe and goalkeeper Freddy Hall seeing action.
Terry Dunfield scored twice and Quincy Amarikwa scored the opening goal in the first half, as Toronto defeated CD Águila of El Salvador 3-0. Toronto’s victory sets up a match on Oct. 24 at Santos Laguna of Mexico.
