Three Vehicle Collision: Two Taxis & One Car

October 12, 2012

A three vehicle accident occurred earlier this afternoon [Oct 12] on Middle Road in Devonshire, with two taxis and one car involved.

Emergency service personnel responded to the scene and traffic was temporarily diverted away from the area as police investigated the accident. At least one person received what we understand to be non-life threatening injuries. Details of the accident are unclear, however we will update as able.

Great another accident. I guess TCD is just passing everyone to get more money cause the amount of accidents now days is crazy. If its not a single vehicle accident its two but damn this is a three vehicle accident… shame on you non-drivers and shame on you TCD.

It seems as though TCD does is

    T ake
    C ash
    D aily

lol but I guess the work force that benefits from this is the police

  2. Triangle Drifter says:

If the taxis used their GPS units & stayed put in strategic locations waiting for a call they would not need to be on the road ‘circulating’ clogging up the road & burning up fuel without the meter running.

Apparently this car driver is unaware of who owns the road even though a taxi pays less than a class A car per year to use the road. Shame on you car driver.

    • Come Correct says:

He was probably reading his gps when they had the accident.

      • Triangle Drifter says:

More likely on his cellphone surfing the net or calling talkshows.

I was kind of hoping this happened on front street where taxi drivers are constantly pushing their way to the flag pole light and going through it while red to make a U-Turn in front of the Bank of Butterfield. Because then maybe someone would stop them from breaking these 2 laws on a daily basis…. just saying…
