Gale Warning, Severe Weather Watch Issued
[Updated] The Bermuda Weather Service issued a Gale Warning, Severe Weather Watch and Thunderstorm Advisory valid for this morning [Dec 30], with the Gale Warning in effect until Monday.
The forecast says: “As a deep low passes well north, gales will overspread the area with storm force gusts. The associated cold front will pass Bermuda this morning with a line of showers and possible severe thunderstorms.
“Gales will remain behind the front into Monday, when high pressure begins to build from the west. Dry weather but strong winds persist through New Years Day and beyond.”
