Nahki Wells Does It Again, Scores 2 More Goals
[Updated] Bradford City’s Nahki Wells pledge to break his recent goal drought has certainly come true, as he scored during this weekend’s game against Northampton and followed that up again today [Apr 9] with two more goals.
The Bermudian striker came out firing today at the Coral Windows Stadium, hitting the crossbar with his first attempt which was only one minute into the match. Five minutes later, Wells headed home a goal in the 6th minute of the match.
In the 22nd minute the former Dandy Town player converted a penalty to mark his second goal of the game and his 21st goal of the season.
The match is still underway as of this writing, with Bradford leading the Bristol Rovers 3-0 at half-time.
Update 5.09pm: Bristol Rovers scored to make it 3-1, and then Bradford scored again to make it 4-1. The game is still underway.
Update 5.27pm: Wells has just been take off. Score remains 4-1.
Update 5.42pm: The game has ended, with Bradford winning 4-1.
