Photos: Island Games Men’s Beach Volleyball
The 2013 NatWest Island Games men’s beach volleyball continued on Wednesday [July 17], with Saaremaa winning the gold medal after defeating the Cayman Islands. The Cayman took the silver, while the Spanish island of Menorca won the bronze.
Siim Põlluäär and Keith Pupart made up the Saaremaa team, Richard Campbell and Philippe Deslandes played for the Cayman, while José María Olivar and Ramon Linares represented Menorca.
The matches have been played at the National Sports Centre in Devonshire, with sand having been trucked in to recreate a beach.
