Paws To The Park Fundraising Dog Walk

February 18, 2014

The SPCA will be hosting a fun, family friendly dog walk to raise money for the shelter on Sunday, March 2nd at St. Paul’s Church Field at 2.00pm.

Those interested in taking part are invited to register online through spca.bm where a pledge sheet can be downloaded to help raise funds for the shelter.

“Walkers may chose between a 1 or 3 mile walk”, a spokesperson said. “The majority of the walk will be on the railway trail but some will be on the main road so all walkers should exercise care and good judgement when walking on the roads.”

Stupid question here, can we really bring our own dog to this event, regardless of breed, and not be penalized?

As long as your dog don’t eat my chichi, we will all be good.

Yes! I have pitbulls and I took them and we had a great time! Its a great social for the dogs! If you feel your dog is not good at socializing it prob not best to bring them, cause there is alot going on, but every year the weather has been great and we had a good time.

Just throwing it out there…. Will owners pick up after their dogs and is there such a law here in Bermuda? I love dogs don’t get me wrong but when one has to step off the side walks and grass areas to avoid dog doings, or if you are walking when it is still dark out it is not nice at all to step into it.
