Im very sad to hear the passing of “Pacer”. I have great memories playing against him. As a 15 year old, my very first delivery faced was bowled by Pacer, not shortly after the out going batsman had said something that got under his skin,so that meant that I was going to face the “Fire”! After facing that first ball of “Fire” that “whistled” across my head,he calmly walked down to me and welcomed me into the “Big League” I have lived that delivery over and over because up until today I swear that he just ran up and pretended to bowl and that the wicketkeeper had the ball the whole time!It was that fast! Thanks for all the memories “Pacer” Gone but NEVER forgotten.
