Bishop Featured In ‘Church Times’ Newspaper
Photos of the Bishop of Bermuda The Rt Reverend Nicholas Dill being taken “hostage” by the Pirates of Bermuda are featured in the latest issue of the UK’s Church Times newspaper.
The Church Times, founded in 1863, is a leading Anglican weekly newspaper, with a weekly circulation of 25,000. The newspaper printed a series of photographs that depict the Bishop’s experience, from his original “capture” to the moment he was made to “walk the plank” into Hamilton Harbour.
The Bishop was one of many people who stepped up to be taken “hostage” to help raise money for the Spirit of Bermuda sail training programmes.
