Digicel Introduces $2.50 Daily 50MB Data Plan
Digicel’s prepaid customers are now able to easily use data on their smartphones using Digicel’s 4G network, the Company said today.
At a cost of $2.50, the plan includes 50 MB of data per day, which is equivalent to downloading approximately 200 plain text emails or viewing 150 webpages.
“Many customers use their smartphones primarily for apps and the prepaid daily data plan gives them an easy way to stay online,” stated Digicel Bermuda Commercial Director, Alistair Beak.
“All a customer has to do is dial a short number to activate and just make sure there’s enough money on the account if they want it to renew.”
Customers may activate the $2.50 prepaid daily data plan by dialling *235# from an iPhone or Android smartphone. BlackBerry users may dial *236# to activate. The plan is valid for 24 hours from activation and will automatically renew if the customer has a sufficient credit balance.
