Digicel Credit Limit For Postpaid Customers
Digicel announced today [Dec 1] that “starting today all Consumer PostPaid mobile customers with Digicel will have a credit limit set at $250 BMD per month over and above their plan fee.”
A spokesperson said, “Digicel announced today that they are putting customers back in control. Implementing credit limits that ensure customers do not have bill shock due to extreme overages.
“Digicel recognizes how important it is more than ever to control your spend each month. Therefore starting today all Consumer PostPaid mobile customers with Digicel will have a credit limit set at $250 BMD per month over and above their plan fee.”
Digicel Bermuda & Atlantic Regional CEO, Stephen Murad Said: “Each month Digicel Customers would pay their monthly rate [+ $12 government fee]. For example if you had signed up to the Prime Gold Bundle, you would pay $175 per month [+ $12 government fee] and receive 30GB of standard data, Unlimited Local Calls, Unlimited calls to US and CAN, 250 UK Mins, Unlimited SMS, 10GB Social Messaging and a whopping 45GB for YouTube usage , 45GB TikTok usage and 45GB per Digicel App [ Sportsmax , PlayGo , D’Music , Go Loud , Loop, BiP , My Digicel and Billo] here.”
Mr. Murad continued: “So if you manage to use more than this massive allowance, this would deplete from your $250 credit limit. Or if you went on your holidays or travelled for work, all of your roaming usage would also deplete from this $250 credit limit. It is as simple as that!”
The company said, “Digicel has also decided to go a step further by allowing customers to set a zero credit limit. Which would mean no more overage charges at all.”
Head of Marketing, Donn Foggo said: “I am sure we can all agree, life is better when you’re in control and don’t have any unexpected surprises. Your bill being one of them.”
“So pop into store or call us on 500-5000 if you wish to implement this change to your account. We may have some customers that want a bigger credit limit also. Same principal applies.
