Janeiro Tucker Wins BCB Sportsmanship Award
The Bermuda Cricket Board [BCB] announced the winner of the weekly Chivas Cricket Sportsman Award for week 9 is Janeiro Tucker of Southampton.
The BCB said, “In the match between Southampton Rangers v St. George’s one of the players nominated by the St.George’s team did not show up. Despite having the discretion to force Bay to play with 10 men, Janeiro allowed Bay to field a player not already listed on the team sheet as being in the starting 11.”
