So much for Cup Match and Cricket .
Lesson here OBA and TA.
You might get it.
paranoid abm
Looks like a well organized and programed replacement for Cup Match. – suspicions are rising!
There are people in Bermuda who have been trying to find a replacement for Cup match for 30 years or more.
I think that Beach Fest will be the major event for the other Bermuda.
The plan is to push Cup Match to the side and promote this as the No.1 event. – you will know this when the
big sponsors take the efforts out of Cup Match and put it on Beach Fest —- i’m watching this event very closely.
Just got a bad feeling that this event is going to embroil a lot of controvery with Cup match in a couple pf years.
Mark my Words. …
There will always be those who prefer to watch cricket and those who prefer to go to the beach and then you have those like me who prefer to stay home watch Cup Match on TV with AC.
Not bad for two days of doing nothing and getting paid for it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What is the lesson? That at least 8,000 of our residents choose to do something else besides watch cricket? So what? Get over it.
I know. It’s like, hey it’s Cup Match so the whole island has to go there. It’s a holiday and people do what they choose. Nothing wrong with that. Plenty of marketing to be done at both major events.
May God bless Bermuda and her emancipation day and all celebrations.
BERNEWS great pictures!
lets just hope they start id checks next year..dont worry im bringing mine..just tired of all these drunk as hell 13yr old girls in tiny bikinis running around
Cup match has gone from 5 to 20$ n beach fest is free plus you can take your own alcohol
Commendations to the person(s) who organized the roping off of the sites on Horseshoe Bay Beach. It definitely made it easier to move throughout the beach!
