Yah can’t drink and drive.
Yah can’t find transport.
Yah can’t piss on the sidewalk.
And if you fall down and smell like Goslings….your incapable.
Damn……
I need a rum.
Great job BPS
Good work B.P.S. for arresting them that were possibly a danger to others, if not themselves.
Far too many(have been)are endangering others while operating motor vehicles impaired…There need be a change in the Laws e.g. an automatic disqualification of their drivers licence, even if it’s the first offence!
There already is Raymond.
That’s true. The current government corrected a law that had been passed by the PLP with a mistake in it that meant dui drivers couldn’t be disqualified. They can now, and usually are.
However the courts currently give leeway where there is an excuse, like “I need the license so I can do my job” or whatever. That practice should stop. There should be no exceptions.
Then, that’s a good thing Terry
Law was amended, now an automatic disqualification regardless if its your first or fourth time.
Come on Bermuda! After everything that has happened in 2014 especially with drinking and driving! Your not invincible until it happens to you. Leave the car or bike…If worst comes to worst walk home and sober up were small enough for you to walk home.
BPS is doin there job but at the end of the day….alot of taxis r not taking drunk people or people from clubs soo are they suppose to sleep on the side walk for the night … N i kno police are not stoppin to give a random stranded person a lift home so ya its wrong but um not gonna leave my car to be stranded
Your car means more to you than your life and that of other road users? Think and plan first so you won’t need to drink & drive!
Stay home, stop drinking.
What is the problem? Somebody or something is sprinkling stupid dust down on us!!!. Plain stupidity! Great work BPS.
Book em Danno!
Jessica,
it is about personal responsibility. The concept is a designated driver or if you plan to drink don’t even go out in your car or bike.
simple
People don’t learn.
FFS! NONE of these drivers had ANYTHING to drink! It was all medical conditions! Stop judging people!
Bullcrap!
What, were you there, do you KNOW?
ALL of these drivers were actually being attacked by bees! Get a clue!
One more thing…….being incapable in public ….you byes locky you didn’t wake up with a penny in your hand! Not that you would know it anyway…..there are man buggering boogahmen juss waitin fouah you out deah late at night on front street….dey actually hang out at bars watching and waiting !
You drink…you no drive…whatsah mattah four u?
Some people have to learn the *HARD WAY*!!! Put these people in jail for a week or two… To teach them a lesson they are NOT learning about the dangers of “driving-under-the-influence”!!!
There have been soooo many warnings issued about this nonsense – and still the fools drive while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs!!!
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH…. SEND THE *MESSAGE* BDA JUDICIAL SYSTEM!!!
