Appleby Teams Top Ranked By Chambers Global

  • Timothy FariesAppleby announced that Chambers Global Guide, a leading research publication to the legal profession, has awarded the firm’s Bermuda lawyers with the most individual rankings and continues to top rank its Bermuda Insurance and Dispute Resolution practice teams.Chambers recognised sixteen Appleby lawyers, the most individual rankings of any law firm on the Island across Insurance, Dispute Resolution and Corporate & Finance practice areas.

    In particular, Chambers continues to cite the firm’s Band 1 Insurance practice for its “distinguished insurance and reinsurance practice” and is “praised for its in-depth understanding of the industry and long-standing experience in the market.”

    Chambers noted the team being “increasingly active assisting clients with insurance linked security [ILS] structures as well as M&A transactions.”

    Appleby Partners Brad Adderley and Alan Bossin are also the only Bermuda lawyers ranked in Band 1 for Insurance by Chambers.

    In addition, the firm’s Bermuda Dispute Resolution team is once again ranked in Band 1 by Chambers. The team is described by Chambers as a “premier firm with one of Bermuda’s deepest litigation teams” and is “lauded for its wide-ranging expertise including commercial, insolvency, insurance and reinsurance, employment and trust matters.”
