Rhona Emmerson Exhibit Opens At Masterworks
Masterworks will be showing ‘French Impressions: A Rhona Emmerson Exhibition,’ wth the exhibition set to start with a happy hour this evening [April 24] from 5:30 to 7.00pm.
This exhibition showcases a collection of oil paintings that were done while visiting the South of France, a very happy and sunny place to visit and paint for the artist.
The collections are all oil paintings of landscapes filled with sunflowers and country lanes, colour and textures of the fields, and landscapes painted in plein air.
Rhona Emmerson is a well known Bermudian artist and oil painter and also coordinates the Bermuda plein air movement that paints every Sunday through out the year, and Mark Emmerson will have some of his photos of supporting images also captured in the South of France and the countryside.
The paintings are all framed and ready to find happy homes, and the exhibition will be on until April 29th.
Masterworks’ open hours run from 10.00am through 4.00pm Monday through Saturday, and 11.00am to 4.30pm on Sundays, while the museum is closed on public holidays.
