Arts Centre In Dockyard Hosts Tranquillity Show
The Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard will be hosting “Tranquillity“ featuring work from some of Bermuda’s leading artists with the show opening today [Aug 30] and running until September 25th.
A spokesperson said, “This is our last themed show for the year. With the heat upon us, the late sunsets and clear skies, we find that our Island slows down, relaxing and enjoying the beauty around us.
“ Tranquillity “ is a show from our local artists that have picked out different scenes, blips of the tranquillity that Bermuda holds.
“Featuring work from Bermuda’s leading artists, we have work submitted in all media, all sizes and a variety of price ranges. There is something for everyone!
“In addition to our main show, we have a solo show opening by Susan Thomas “ 22 Mile Journey”. Susan Thomas is an established photographer. Her work depicts close up shots of the hidden gems that can be found every day as we travel through the Island, but often miss. Her photographs will be mounted on metal for this exhibition.
“We welcome everyone to our opening is this Sunday, August 30, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Both shows remain open until September 25. The Bermuda Arts Centre is open every day from 10:00 a.m. – 5 p.m. Free Admission – Wheel Chair accessible.”
