Singer Twanée Appears On “Power” TV Show

Bermudian singer Twanée continues to spread her music internationally, recently appearing in an episode of the American television drama “Power,” performing her 2011 hit “Fire It Up.”

The show, which stars American rapper 50 Cent and airs on Starz, follows the story of James “Ghost” St. Patrick, a wealthy New York night club owner who has it all, catering for the city’s elite and dreaming big, lives a double life as a drug kingpin.”

Twanée appeared in season two, episode nine of the series – dubbed “Time’s Up” – which aired on the Starz network on Saturday, August 8.

The show’s synopsis says, “Power tells the story of James “Ghost” St. Patrick, a wealthy New York City nightclub owner who caters to the city’s elite. He wants to build an empire, turn the club into a Fortune 500 business, but there’s just one problem: Ghost is living a double life.”

“His marriage, family and business all become unknowingly threatened as he is tempted to leave his criminal life behind and become the rags-to-riches businessman he wants to be most of all.”

The talented singer has been performing publicly from the age of seven, and has won both the Miss Hal Jackson Talented Teen Bermuda contest and the Bermuda Singing for Success competition.
