Audio Interview: Hacker’s Cup In Bermuda
Bermuda recently served as the backdrop for an episode of ‘Sports Innerview,’ as Ann Liguori of NPR’s WPPB in Southampton, New York broadcasted from the island during the Hacker’s Cup.
The episode’s SoundCloud page says, “Ann Liguori of NPR’s WPPB 88.3 FM in Southampton, New York broadcasts from Bermuda during the Hacker’s Cup to discuss golf, rum and the America’s Cup.
“The Hacker’s Cup introduces journalists from the United States and the United Kingdom to Bermuda’s outstanding golf product.
“The latest Hacker’s Cup took place in October 2015 and included sailors from the America’s Cup competing with visiting journalists.”
During the broadcast, Ms. Liguori said, “This morning’s show comes from the beautiful island of Bermuda, a sports lovers’ paradise.
“Bermuda has so much to offer: championship golf courses, a variety of gorgeous beaches – some with pink sand – and plenty of watersports.
“It’s Royal Naval Dockyard complex combines a look at maritime history with modern attractions and fine dining.”
