Photos: National Road Race Championships
The Bermuda Bicycle Association held their National Road Race Championships this morning [June 26] with the start getting underway from Clearwater Beach parking lot at Southside. Race categories included Open Male which rode 67 miles, Open Female riding 42 miles, Junior Male riding 42 miles and Junior Female which rode 31.5 miles.
Participants rode loops from Clearwater Beach parking lot up to the roundabout at the top of Blue Hole Hill and back in to St. David’s to the start/finish. The Open Male race first lap saw participants proceed from the Blue Hole Hill roundabout on to North Shore Road and continue to Flatts going around Harrington Sound Road back to the roundabout by Swizzle Inn.
