BMDS Awards Student Bursaries To Six Students
The Trustees of the BMDS Charitable Trust have awarded its 2016 bursaries to six students in order to help them to continue their education in the performing arts.
The students include Jadiyah Bailey, BA Dance at Edge Hill University, England; Eryn Beach, BA [Hons] Contemporary Dance, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, England; Kioshi Burgess, Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance, Musicians Institute, USA; Julia Frith Quinn, BA [Hons] Acting, Rose Bruford College, England; Marcus Smith, BFA Theatre, New York University, USA; and Treasure Tannock, Ba Drama, Spelman College, USA.
A spokesperson said, “Additional donations were also made to the Bermuda School of Music Busary Programme and recently to the Chewstick Foundation for their rebuilding fund following their devastating fire.”
