‘Painting With Fabric’ Exhibit To Open January 5
An exhibit titled “Painting With Fabric,” featuring quilted artwork by Gail Marirea, is set to open on January 5 from 5.30pm to 7.00pm in the Rick Faries Gallery at Masterworks, running until January 25.
A spokesperson said, “These art quilts are unique in that Gail has manipulated the fabric to mirror various mediums from oil to watercolour.
“Using her own technique, Gail is able to replicate photographs, paintings and postcards.”
