Column: ‘Film Is Engaging, Thought Provoking
[Written by Dr Kuni Frith]
I recently had the opportunity to view one of the most talked about documentaries of the year at BUEI entitled Heal.
Director Kelly Noonan Gores brilliantly captures testimonials from individuals who experienced health transformations beyond the boundaries of modern day allopathic science. The film is a gripping, engaging, thought provoking depiction that dispels the myth perpetuated by scientific skeptics who cite energy medicine as nothing more than pseudoscience.
Heal has confirmed everything I studied and put into practice for the last two and a half decades as a Classical Traditional Naturopath about the power of the human body and mind to reverse chronic disease conditions.
The documentary takes the viewer on an epic journey through the world of quantum physics with some of the leading authorities on mind/body medicine. Doctors, biochemists, medical researchers, spiritual teachers and energy medicine practitioners go on record to confirm the body’s innate ability to heal itself.
Trailer for Heal:
Heal has the ability to empower anyone who has ever received a frightening prognosis. This is not new science. Quantum theory can be traced back to the 1890’s through Einstein’s theory of relativity along with Newtonian mechanics.
What is so different about the information today is that the world is now ready to embrace a new approach to healing. Decades of pharmaceutical dogma and indoctrination by the medical community has resulted in an escalation in chronic degenerative disease conditions. The rippling side effects from pharmaceutical prescription drugs, has cast a dark shadow on the progress made in modern medicine.
We cannot deny the advancements made in medical science that continue to amaze us and propel modern medical research to new heights. Nor can we deny the brilliant minds behind new frontiers unfolding in modern medicine.
On the flip side, we cannot ignore the unorthodox practices of energy medicine and the miraculous turnaround that occurs when someone diagnosed with a terminal illness is told that illness is no longer present, or they are in spontaneous remission.
There is an internal universe existing inside the human body that continues to baffle the allopathic community. The complexities and intricate functioning of the human body and mind coexist in a manner that is not often understood by modern day science. This complex orchestra of nerves, cells, electrical brain pulses, atoms, biorhythms and the list goes on, is the mechanics behind the human existence.
This awesome film forces the viewer to think outside of the box when it comes to creating health and encouraging healing.
Perhaps it is time to take charge of our health a little more and stop relying on the so called “magic pill or surgery” to improve our health and move us into a state of homeostasis. Scientific research now shows that the misuse and abuse of prescription drugs diminishes immune function making us more susceptible to chronic illness. We need to exercise our higher consciousness and tap into the innate healer within.
I would like to salute the Head of Marketing Ms. Belinda Barbieri and her team for featuring the film at BUEI and opening the local community up to new concepts in the world of mind/body medicine. Heal can be viewed again for the third time at BUEI on Thursday, November 15, 2017 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available at BUEI in advance.
The first two showings of this phenomenal film were sold out and most folks who saw the film cannot stop talking about it. We look forward to more motivational and inspirational documentaries from BUEI in the future.
