Boxing Day Harness Pony Racing at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street in Devonshire saw excitement at the track today [Dec 26].
During the 1:07&2 – 1:10 Time Bar Class the crowd was on their feet as Ryan Manders in the bike of A Touch of Red clocked a winning time of 1:09&2. Kirista Rabain in the bike of LR’s Last Chance and rookie driver Kayla Caldwell in the bike of Stay Tuned clocked the same time of 1:09&3 to finish tied in 2nd. Another rookie driver Tahzii Flood in the bike of Major Medical clocked a time of 1:09&4.

Another nail bitter came during the 1:06&1 – 1:07&1 Time Bar Class as Nick DeCosta and Big Mean Machine beat out Candyce Martins in the bike of Inwood’s Progress in a photo finish as both were clocked at 1:07&3. Casey Truran in the bike of Inwood’s Generation finished third stopping the clock in 1:08 flat.
