Kyle Masters To Join Carey Olsen Bermuda

August 8, 2018

Kyle Masters Bermuda August 8 2018--Carey Olsen Bermuda has continued its growth with the appointment of Bermudian Kyle Masters as a senior associate in its litigation team.

“Mr Masters will join Carey Olsen Bermuda after two years at Digicel Group, most recently as head of strategy and regulatory. Prior to that, he worked for both the Bermuda Monetary Authority and the Regulatory Authority of Bermuda,” the company said.

“Mr Masters’ experience includes advising on legal compliance, internal and external risk mitigation, corporate governance, enforcement actions and business strategy.

“In addition, he has appeared as an advocate before both the Bermuda Supreme Court and Court of Appeal.”

Michael Hanson, managing partner of Carey Olsen Bermuda, said: “Kyle has gained a valuable wealth of experience from his time working in legal, regulatory and commercial environments.

“What is particularly pleasing is Kyle’s desire to refocus on the advocacy side of his skill set and to join the commercial litigation team, maintaining our trend of attracting talented Bermudian lawyers back into private practice.

“Given the increasing demand for our services, particularly in relation to contentious regulatory issues, appointing attorneys of Kyle’ s calibre to meet the needs of our clients will continue to be a key focus for the firm going forward.”

Mr Masters will join Carey Olsen Bermuda once he has completed his notice period at Digicel, the company noted.
