Premier, Family Assist Grateful Bread Programme
Premier David Burt together with his wife Kristin and their children, volunteered their time to the monthly Grateful Bread feeding programme at St Andrew’s Church last evening. The service is offered every last Thursday of the month, at Astwood Hall, St Andrew’s Church on the corner of Church and Court Streets.
Meals are served from 6pm to 7:30pm and the programme is organized by Juliana Snelling, Diane Steede and Suzi Outerbridge.
Premier Burt stated: “Meal programmes like the Grateful Bread are very important to our community, especially at this time of year. Many volunteers come together to help those who need our extra support. My family and I are always happy to assist and we truly enjoy being part of this great community event.”
Way to go, Premier Burt!!
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
