Triathletes Compete In World Championships
Several Bermuda athletes took to the course for the 2019 World Championships in Laussane, Switzerland for the Age Group Championships.
Becky Shepherd competed in the Women’s 45-49 Age Group finished 50th stopping the clock in a time of 2:51:10, she clocked 33:12 during the Swim, 1:21:50 on the Bike Course and then 51”03 on the Run Course.
Lea Osbourne competed in the Women’s 55-59 Age Group and finished 40th with a time of 1:33:04, Osbourne completed the swim in 19:12, she was clocked at 40:25 on the Bike and 26:51 during the Run Course.
With a time of 2:29:08, Alan Potts finished 84th in the Men’s 40-44 Age Group, Potts was out of the water in 34:29, he then clocked 1:07:21 during the Bike course before closing out with a time of 43:11 on the Run Course.
