Carter House Family Christmas On December 1
The St. David’s Island Historical Society is getting set to present ‘Carter House Family Christmas’ in St David’s on Sunday, December 1st from 4.00pm to 7.00pm.
The event poster says, “A new museum in process – we have new exhibits including a timeline with many more new exhibits to come over the next few months few months. Also, the Settlers Cabben will have new thatch!
“Carter House and the Settlers’ Cabin decorated in period style with fires in the old fireplaces. Featuring seasonal refreshments and St David’s hospitality by Gary Lamb and a home roasted turkey [carved on site], rolls, mayo, and cranberry. Donation only requested.
“Carolers and other entertainment. Father Christmas bringing gifts for the kids on an ancient wheelbarrow in St David’s style.
“In the Christmas [and St David's] Spirit there is no charge. Donations greatly appreciated. Stop by the ATM!”
