Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign

November 16, 2023 | 0 Comments

The Salvation Army is gearing up for its annual Christmas Kettle Campaign, launching on November 23rd.

A spokesperson said, “The Salvation Army has always tried to put our faith into practice; endeavoring to support those in need and offer compassion and practical assistance to vulnerable people experiencing difficult times.

“We know that the cost-of-living crisis in Bermuda, and worldwide, has increased substantially since the worldwide pandemic. We are already witnessing this increase in overall operational costs and the increased demand for our programs & services.

“This Christmas, our wish is that no one is left homeless, hungry, or lonely. It is our intention to reach out and provide support to those people who are finding it difficult in acquiring the necessities for basic human dignity. We are asking you to assist us in bringing hope, dignity, and joy to families this Christmas and throughout the year.

“The Salvation Army cannot do what it needs to do without you, the public, so you can be a star this Christmas and support the Christmas programs by giving.
