Bermuda Police Seek Missing Man: Martin Molinski

March 18, 2010

Martin_MolinskiThe Bermuda Police are appealing for anyone who can help locate a missing man.

27 year old Martin Molinski is a British national who has been in Bermuda for only six months. Bernews has confirmed that he is an employee of local company Vinyltech.

He is described as being a white male between 6′ and 6’2” tall of medium build, with a closely cropped haircut with a light moustache and beard.

Mr. Molinski was last seen at his residence at #1 Long Lane Pembroke, between 8pm and 9pm on Wednesday March 17th, after being out with his friends.

After Mr. Molinski did not show up for work this morning [Thursday], his friends went to his home to check on him,  and he was not located at the residence.

Speculation has arisen that Mr. Molinski may have went swimming by himself, and that his clothes may have been found at the location. The Police were reportedly seen at a beach location recently, whether that is related we do not know. Bernews understands that the Police marine unit was searching the waters in the Admiralty House area today [March 19]. The Police have not released any details concerning the last statement, so it should not be taken as fact.

Anyone with any information about his whereabouts is asked to contact PC Bailey or PC Burrows on 295-0011.

Update March 19: Family and friends of Martin Molinski have launched a Facebook group.
