Vasco Erupts After 7-0 World Cup Win

If anyone is wondering where the party is right now, wonder no more – it’s at Vasco Da Gama Club on Reid Street. Bermuda’s Portuguese Community and friends are out in full force following Portugal’s 7-0 thrashing of North Korea in the World Cup game which ended about an hour ago. Portugal were 1-0 at halftime, and exploded during the second half scoring six goals, including three goals in seven minutes.

Cars sporting Portuguese flags can be seen driving up and down with their horns blaring and fans waving. People are decked out in the red and green colours of the flag, draped in flags and more. Inside the club is party central, with everyone joyous, waving flags and celebrating.
