First Bermudian Member: London Life Executive
Mrs. Sharon Donawa, Senior Sales Advisor at Freisenbruch-Meyer Group, was recently awarded membership into the exclusive London Life Executive Club and is the first Bermudian to do so. London Life is a Canadian financial services company that provides products such as retirement and investments, insurance, mortgages, group benefits and savings plans.
To qualify for such membership an advisor must achieve significant sales figures, along with a 90% persistency rate by year end. Mrs. Donawa has already exceeded the requirement with a 95% persistency rate thus far for 2010. Mrs. Donawa joined Freisenbruch-Meyer Group in 2008 and is the only advisor in Bermuda to sell London Life products as a licensed professional.
London Life is a subsidiary of The Great-West Life Assurance Company and together, with its subsidiaries, serves the financial security needs of more then 12 million people across Canada. The privileges and prestige of Executive Club Membership include global recognition, attendance at the 2010 Insurance and Investment Strategies Summit (Montreal), priority handling of all clients enquiries and a monetary rewards card.
James Leman, Vice President of Group Employee Benefits, said, “Sharon has certainly been an integral part in the development of our Life product. She is a joy to have on our team and her enthusiasm and dedication to her job are second to none. We are proud of her accomplishments and it comes as no surprise that she has been awarded membership into the London Life Executive Club.”
Mrs. Donawa explained, “The most interesting part of my work is developing a sound relationship with the clients and guaranteeing their needs are met. Most people are not taught that life insurance is a part of their complete financial planning and only think of it after a life changing event, but it is an important part of a family’s financial security at every stage of life. This accomplishment is a reflection of my commitment to our community to ensure that every family in Bermuda has obtained life insurance.”
