Body Found in Parsons Road Area
At sometime around noon today [Sept 8], a body was found in the Field View Lane, Parsons Road area. The Police are presently on scene, and say they are awaiting official identification of the individual, and also to notify the family. We will update with the official police statement when provided.
As of 2pm, Police officers as well as the forensic unit is on the scene.
Update 2:11pm: The Police confirm the body is that of a man and also state that an on-call physician is in the area and they are awaiting formal notification of next-of-kin.
Update 2:36pm: official information from the Police:
A few minutes after 12:30pm on Wednesday, Police responded to a report of an incident that took place on Field View Lane in Pembroke. It appears that a member of the community came upon a man’s lifeless body in an area outside of a house on that said road. Police are going through the process of identifying the body and as such no further information will be given until the next of kin have been notified.
