Front Street Assault: Man in ICU
A 32-year-old man is in the Intensive Care Unit after he sustained serious injuries after being assaulted by a group of men around 1:30am this morning on Front Street. The Police received a report of a disturbance/assault outside The Bistro at The Beach on Front Street in Hamilton early this morning, and say it appears that the victim, a Pembroke resident, was assaulted by a group of men.
He was rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment, where he is currently in the Intensive Care Unit. Police stated that inquiries into this incident are underway, and they are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact the Hamilton Police Station on 295-0011.
